Has anyone had a “Bee’s Knees” cocktail?
It comes from the American prohibition era, The phrase “bee’s Knees” is slang for “the best”.
Honey and Lemon was used to mask the taste of poor quality Gin. But try it today with a High class Gin, It fabulous.
2oz High quality Gin ( we use Bloom)
3-4oz Stortford Honey
3-4oz freshly squeezed Lemon juice
Shake all the ingredients with Ice in a shaker, Strain and serve with a garnish of Lemon twist.
